Accumulator Calculator, Work Out Your Bet Returns

Use our accumulator calculator to work out your potential returns on multi-selection bets, where odds multiply across every leg.

This accumulator calculator works out the return on a betting accumulator, or acca, of any size from a double to a 20-fold. Add a selection for each leg, type the odds, mark the results and the return updates as you type. It is for betting accumulators only, not hydraulic or savings ones.

An accumulator combines two or more selections into one bet. Every selection must win. The returns multiply: stake times the decimal odds of every leg. A £5 four-fold at evens on each leg pays £80.

This accumulator calculator lets you work out the returns instantly. Simply enter your selections, their odds, and your stake, the calculator multiplies the odds together and shows you the potential return and profit if every selection wins.

How accumulator returns are worked out

Turn each price into decimal odds by dividing the fraction and adding one, so 2/1 is 3.00 and 5/2 is 3.50. Multiply them all together, then multiply by the stake. That is the return. Profit is the return minus the stake. The bigger the acca, the faster the number grows, and the more legs that have to win.

Football accumulator calculator

Football accas work the same way. Type the odds for each match result, mark each leg Won or Lost, and the tool settles it. A postponed match is a void leg: mark it NR and the acca drops down one fold, so a five-fold becomes a four-fold on the legs that stood.

Each way accumulator calculator

Switch on each way and every leg gets a win part and a place part. The win acca needs every horse to win. The place acca pays if every horse at least places, at the place fraction for each race. Set the place terms per selection. The stake doubles, because there are two accas.

What happens if one leg is void or a non-runner?

Mark it NR. That leg is settled at 1/1, so it neither adds to nor takes from the return, and the acca is paid on the remaining legs. A lost leg loses the whole acca. There is no consolation on a straight accumulator, which is why some people prefer a Lucky 15.

Worked example: A £5 four-fold

£5.00 on 1. 2/1 won, 2. 1/1 won, 3. 5/2 won, 4. 3/1 won. Total stake £5.00.

4-fold1£5.00£420.00

Return £420.00 on £5.00 staked, a profit of £415.00. These are the figures the tool above opens with.

Built for a phone, not a desk

Most bet calculators are a desktop form buried in a page of adverts and articles. This one is one screen, made for a phone in the bookies or on the sofa. Tap the bets you want to place and they light up. Mark each pick Won, Lost or NR before you type a price, so losers need no odds at all. The total sits at the bottom of the screen the whole time. Every calculator on this site is the same tool with a different bet loaded, so there is nothing new to learn from page to page.

Frequently asked questions

How do you calculate an accumulator?

Multiply the decimal odds of every leg together, then multiply by the stake. A £2 treble at 2/1, 3/1 and evens returns £2 × 3 × 4 × 2 = £48.

What is a four-fold?

An accumulator with four selections. All four must win.

Can I do an accumulator with more than 20 legs?

This tool stops at 20, which matches most bookmakers.

How do you work out an accumulator bet?

Multiply the odds of each selection together, then multiply by your stake. Our calculator does this automatically, just enter your selections and their odds.

What happens if one leg of an accumulator loses?

The entire bet loses. There's no partial win or half-return in an accumulator, every single selection must win for the bet to pay out.

Can you cash out an accumulator early?

Many bookmakers offer cash-out on accumulators before all results are in, but terms vary. Check your bookmaker's rules to see if they allow it and how it's calculated.

What is a good accumulator size?

That depends on your betting budget. Use this calculator to see what return you'd get if all selections win, then decide whether the potential profit justifies your stake.

Can you place an each-way accumulator?

Yes, if your bookmaker supports it. An each-way accumulator combines both a win bet and a place bet, with odds multiplying for both parts separately.

Every figure on this page is worked out by the same calculator embedded above — nothing is rounded or estimated by hand. Bonus percentages and each-way place terms vary between bookmakers, so always check the terms on your betting slip before you place a bet.
